Bird feeder and broom thrown at deputy during arrest

A Marion County woman is in jail after throwing a bird feeder and a broom at a deputy.

Five charges were filed against 44-year-old Lisa Edmiston of Yellville and an incident this past Wednesday. According to an affidavit from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. Someone reported hearing a loud banging noise and seeing Edmiston come into the house and take a broom. The homeowner says that he pushed her out the door and called the authorities. Once the deputy got there through a bird feeder at him and took off running; it was a short pursuit, and she was taken into custody- Edmiston admitted to taking methamphetamine, facing felony charges of residential burglary, along with misdemeanor charges of fleeing, criminal trespass, theft of property, public intoxication. She’s currently in the Marion County Detention Center on bonds totaling $5000.
