Two different children who briefly went missing last weekend have been found, and their each home safe and sound.
On May 10, Howell County deputies were dispached to Peace Valley after a mother had reported her 2-year-old son had vanished. He was located in a field on County Road 3390, just west of the home. The following day on May 11, a young boy wandering down County Road 5120 was called into the Howell County Sheriff’s Office by a citizen. The 3-year-old was quickly located about a quarter mile from home. According to Public Information Officer Angela Conboy, an uncle who was supposed to be watching the boy took a nap, and he woke up to find the boy gone and the front door open.
Both cases will be reviewed in Children’s Division Court for review.
