Several accidents reported over the weekend

Four people suffered serious injuries in an accident Sunday afternoon in Wright County. The Highway Patrol reports that 22-year-old Hayden Morgan of Mountain Grove, a 14-year-old boy from Mountain Grove, a 14-year-old girl from Vanzant, and a 13-year-old girl from Mountain Grove were all injured when Morgan drove off the road and hit a MoDOT sign and a tree. Morgan was charged with felony DWI resulting in serious physical injury, felon second-degree assault, misdemeanor careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, and no seat belt. The accident happened on Missouri 95, five miles south of Manes.

 

Three Gainesville residents were injured in an accident east of Pontiac on Saturday. 41-year-old Jessica Fireline, 31-year-old Cory Pool, and 19-year-old Destiny Fireline all suffered serious injuries when Destiny Fireline drove off the road and struck a tree. Destiny Fireline was charged with Careless and imprudent driving, no seatbelt, operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license, and leaving the scene of an accident. The accident happened on Highway W, four miles east of Pontiac.

 

Two West Plains residents were injured in an accident north of West Plains Sunday evening.  52-year-old Heather Allsman suffered moderate injuries and 59-year-old Lorrin Allsman suffered minor injuries when Heather Allsman was forced off the road by an oncoming vehicle and ten hit several trees. Both Heather and Lorrin Allsman were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on county road 1770, one mile north of West Plains.

 

 

A Raymondville teen was injured in an accident south of Yukon on Saturday. The Highway Patrol reports that 19-year-old Breelynn Warren suffered moderate injuries when she drove off the road and hit a utility pole. Warren was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 137, two miles south of Yukon.

 

 

A man from Myrtle was injured in an accident early Sunday morning. 20-year-old Isaiah Underwood suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the car he was driving.  He was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway V, two miles south of Highway 142 in Oregon County.
