The National Weather Service has now confirmed that it was an EF-3 Tornado that tour through Marion County Sunday morning. The NWS says the storm had wind speeds of 145 MPH and a path on the ground of 21.1 miles and was 1500 yards wide. Marion County OEM reported three fatalities associated with the tornado. The NWS has not released its report on Baxter County but we know that 1 person was killed in the storm near Salesville and 17 were injured. The NWS has confirmed that an EF-1 Tornado touched down near the Bendavis and Houston area in Texas County but they have yet to confirm a Tornado near Mountain View although there have been multiple videos of a tornado in the Mountain View Area on social media and there were reports of a tornado near Eminence in Shannon County. Injuries were reported but no fatalities were reported with the storm near Mountain View.
