The Yellville-Summit School District paid tribute to a young student who died in Sunday’s tornado that tore through Boone, Marion, and Baxter Counties.

James Duncan was a sixth-grader who was described on the school’s Facebook page as a beautiful, creative, and loved member of the class who brought joy, laughter, and kindness to everyone he encountered.

An account has been set up at Arvest Bank for the Duncan family.  Any donations can be dropped off at the drive-thru and make sure they know that it’s for the Duncan family.

The National Weather Service rated that Sunday morning tornado as an EF3, one of 13 storms that hit the area.
