A man from Horseshoe Bend was killed and four people were injured in an accident in Franklin Arkansas, last week. The Arkansas State police report that 67-year-old Richard Dorris was killed and 85-year-old Avery Maynard of Violet Hill and 3 minors were all injured when Dorris crossed a double yellow line and hit the vehicle that Maynard was driving head-on. All the injured were taken to Fulton County Hospital. The accident happened last Tuesday on Highway 56 in Franklin.
