In Douglas County on Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Department responded to County Road 337 off of N Highway for a neighbor dispute. Deputy Nathan Long had already been working on an active case of harassment on the suspect, 53 year old Michael Greer of Ava. Sheriff’s Department made contact with Greer and subsequently arrested him for his past actions over the current situation. Greer was placed on a 24 hour hold and a warrant was later issued for his arrest for Assault in the First Degree or Attempt. And 1st degree harassment. His bond set at $1500 cash only.
