A Man from Mammoth Spring was arrested last Saturday after allegedly slamming his girlfriend’s face into the road and threatening to kill her. 33-year-old Michael Fredrick Amrheim is charged with a felony terroristic threatening and misdemeanor fleeing on foot, battery in the third degree, and interference with emergency communication. According to reports police were called to a residence on Highway 9, and when they arrived he ran out the back door across the highway and into the woods. Tracking dogs from the North Central Unit at Calico Rock were brought in to search for the suspect who was apprehended about three hours later. He is being held in the Fulton County Jail on bonds totaling $10,000.
