Grovesprings man arrested for attacked two people with hatchet

A man from Grovesprings in Wright County has been arrested after allegedly attacking his neighbors with a hatchet. 41-year-old Jason Bailey is charged with two counts of first-degree assault after he attacked his black neighbors injuring two people, one woman had two fingers cut to the bone and a man had his head cut with skin folded over exposing his skull. Bailey had several facial injuries. All three were taken to the Hospital for Treatment. Bailey has a history of arrest. The witnesses believe the attack was racially motivated. Bailey is being held in Wright County and will be in court on June 24th.
