35-year-old Mason Alexander Grant allegedly started yelling and kicking his cell door. After several kicks the door opened and Grant walked into the hallway and then was escorted back to his cell by jail staff. Grant continued to yell after he was put back in his cell. Grant has a history of charges in Greene, Izard, and Jefferson Counties including a sexual assault charge in Greene County. He now faces additional charges of third-degree escape and impairing the operation of a vital government facility. His bond is set at $25,000.
