The Missouri State Highway Patrol was busy with several local accidents over the weekend.

A man from Washington Missouri was injured in a Shannon County accident. 58-year-old Mark Brown suffered serious injuries when a truck driven by 44-year-old Kourtney Brown of Gardner Kansas entered the roadway and was hit in the rear by the motorcycle driven by Mark Brown.  Mark Brown was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. the accident happened on Highway 19, one mile south of Eminence on Friday.

A Doniphan man was injured in an accident Friday in Ripley County. 33-year-old Coleman Nance suffered moderate injuries when he failed to stop at a stop sign and ran off the road, hitting a directional sign. Nance was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S. 160 at County Road 160E-10.

A Mountain View man was injured in an accident east of Pomona on Sunday. 42-year-old Jerime Teubert suffered moderate injuries when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, and hit a tree. He was taken to Ozarks Healthcare

A 16-year-old boy from Willow Springs was injured in a two-vehicle accident south of Houston on Saturday. The boy suffered minor injuries when the mirror of the truck he was driving hit the mirror of another truck on a hillcrest. The boy was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway H, 10 miles south of Houston.

A woman from Beulah Missouri was injured in an accident north of Licking on Saturday. 29-year-old Andrea Ruman suffered minor injuries when she drove off the road and hit a guardrail.  She was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 63, six miles north of Licking.
