A man from Washington Missouri was injured in a Shannon County accident. 58-year-old Mark Brown suffered serious injuries when a truck driven by 44-year-old Kourtney Brown of Gardner Kansas entered the roadway and was hit in the rear by the motorcycle driven by Mark Brown. Mark Brown was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. the accident happened on Highway 19, one mile south of Eminence on Friday.
A Doniphan man was injured in an accident Friday in Ripley County. 33-year-old Coleman Nance suffered moderate injuries when he failed to stop at a stop sign and ran off the road, hitting a directional sign.
