COLUMBIA, Mo. – Former Mizzou All-American Mikel Schreuders has secured his spot in the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games, becoming the Tigers’ first two-time Olympian swimmer.
Schreuders, Aruba’s lone Olympian in the sport of swimming for the Paris Games, turned in qualifying times of 21.93 in the 50-meter freestyle and 48.46 in the 100-meter freestyle. The 2024 Summer Olympic Games will be contested in Paris, July 26-August 11, with a swimming competition set to take place at Paris La Defense Arena.
