According to the Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Roger Counts Jr punched and choked another man. then fought a deputy who was trying to arrest him. Counts is charged with second-degree domestic assault special victim and resisting arrest for a felony. The officer suffered minor injuries when he was elbowed in the face. Counts are being held on $5,000 bond.
