The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office reports that 31-year-old Darrin Martin crashed into the lake at Pigeon Creek Park around 1 Thursday afternoon. Authorities searched around several bridges and access points and found a car in about 10 feet of water just before 2 Thursday afternoon. Martin’s body was recovered from the vehicle. Marting allegedly ran off the causeway inside the park and became submerged underwater. Martin’s mother called 9-1-1.
