Just as summer is beginning to heat up, a Texas County man is in custody for leaving an infant inside a hot truck.
Rustin Miller faces multiple charges of child abuse; according to investigators, Miller’s story is that he left the one-year-girl in the truck by mistake on June 17 from 8am to 11am. That’s when Miller took the baby to Texas County Memorial Hospital where doctors informed him that the baby’s temperature was 107, then placing her on a ventilator- she survived. According to Miller, he forgot to drop the child off at the babysitter.
