52-year-old Gregory Hambelton fled from police on a motorcycle near Dora. The chase reached speeds up to 90 mph. When Hambelton was finally stopped on Highway CC, he allegedly refused to comply with the deputy and tried to get back on the bike. Hambelton was first warned and then tased by the deputy. Hambelton is charged with resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault, careless and imprudent driving, driving while his license is suspended, and operating a motorcycle when his license is not validated for such operations. Hambelton had been arrested three days prior to this stop on similar charges.
