ST. LOUIS, Mo.- Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley and his MLB-leading 31 saves are heading to Arlington for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game.
Major League Baseball announced the All-Star Game rosters Sunday ahead of the game on Tuesday, July 16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Helsley, who has converted a league-best 31 of his 33 save opportunities, was the only Cardinal chosen as a representative for the event.

Major League Baseball announced All-Star reserves on Sunday, with Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. being named to his first All-Star game and catcher Salvador Perez joining him for his ninth All-Star game appearance. Royals starting pitchers Seth Lugo and Cole Ragans also made the All-Star game, each for their first time.
