Authorities in Lawrence County are reporting that a small plane crashed Monday morning off Highway 228 near Light Arkansas. The Sedgewick Fire Department responded to the scene and reported that the pilot was taken by ambulance to a Jonesboro Hospital. The crash knocked Power lines down and several power outages were reported. The plane crashed just before 9 Monday morning. No names have been released. The FAA has been notified and will investigate.
