SPRINGFIELD – Caden Bogenpohl continues to rack up Freshman All-America honors Monday when Baseball America named him to its First Team. The Missouri State outfielder has also received the distinction from D1Baseball (First Team) and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (Second Team).
Bogenpohl set Missouri State freshman records for home runs (20) and walks (53) in 2024, breaking the marks held by Ryan Howard and Spencer Nivens, respectively. His home run total ranked fourth nationally among freshmen and his walk total ranked second in that group this season.
