The Open began today at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland. The world’s best golfers are competing for $17 million in prize money. The Old Course was established in 1878 and originally only consisted of five holes whereas today, it has increased to a total of 45 holes. This is one of four majors and the oldest Major on tour. Golfers from the PGA, LIV Tour, and the World Tour will all be there for the tournament, including Masters Champion and world Number 1 Scottie Scheffler and U.S. Open Champion Bryson Dechambeau.
