
Arkansas left-handed pitcher Stone Hewlett signed a free agent deal with the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday after going undrafted in the 2024 MLB Draft.
Hewlett appeared 23 times out of the bullpen for the Razorbacks as a senior after spending his first three years with the Kansas Jayhawks. The Leawood (Kan.) native posted a 1-0 record with an ERA of 3.46 across 13 innings of work while allowing six hits and eight walks with 23 strikeouts. He was a lefty-lefty specialist who held opposing hitters to a .136 batting average while picking up four saves.
