According to the probable cause statement, on Wednesday, Taylor Deckard was taken to the Oregon County Sheriff’s Office and interviewed for suspected child molestation. Deckard was read his rights and was asked about the alleged incident. Deckard admitted that he had inappropriately touched a 13-year-old girl on her chest and buttocks and had kissed her head and lips while she slept. Deckard told the deputy that the incident happened on July 10th and that it had happened before. He also said he knew what he was doing was wrong. The Deputy then requested that a warrant be issued for Deckard because he believed that Deckard would appear on a summons. Judge Steven Privette then issued the warrant charging Deckard with third-degree child molestation-child less than 14 years old. Deckard is being held without bond.
