43-year-old Aaron Wesley Crow was charged on Wednesday, with felony second-degree battery/injuring emergency medical technician or other medics and misdemeanor second-degree assault/reckless conduct creating a risk of physical injury and resisting arrest-refusal to submit to arrest/uses force. Crow was arrested at the VA Clinic on East Highland Drive in Jonesboro after he became irate and yelled obscenities. Crow fought with officers. He was then taken to St Bernard’s Emergency Department for a mental evaluation. He then kicked a nurse in the face and spit on two other nurses. Crow was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center and bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety. Crow will be arraigned on August 23rd.
