
A Peace Valley man was injured in a motorcycle accident Monday morning west of Peace Valley. The Highway Patrol reports that 27-year-old Dakota Grindstaff suffered moderate injuries when he hit a deer in the roadway. Grindstaff was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway W, three miles west of Peace Valley.
Two Ozark County residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident south of Ava Monday afternoon. 65-year-old Harold Brookover and 70-year-old Phillip Wood both from Wasola, both suffered moderate injuries when Wood turned into the path of a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Clarissa Allen of Mountain Home. The accident happened at the intersection of Highways 5 and 95, 10 miles south of Ava. Brookover was flown to Cox South in Springfield. Wood was taken by ambulance to Cox South.
A Pomona Teen suffered minor injuries in an accident north of Pomona on Monday. A 17-year-old boy was injured when he drove off the road and overturned the pickup he was driving. The accident happened on a county road one mile north of Pomona. The boy was taken to Ozarks Healthcare.
