Beth Strafford was arrested on Monday and has been charged with financial exploitation of an elderly person. The victim allegedly told authorities that she loaned the money to Strafford to help pay attorney’s fees. Strafford denied borrowing the money but authorities found evidence on her phone proving she did. Strafford is being held in Douglas County Her bond was set at $50,000 cash only.
