
Tuesday is primary election day in Missouri and there are several state-wide races that we will be watching closely but there are also some contested local races in the counties. Today we look at the contested local races in Howell and Oregon Counties.
In Howell County, for County Commissioner Southern District the candidates are Bruce Williams and Jesse Wright. For Sheriff, Matt Roberts and Brent Campbell, for County Coroner Gary Max DeShazo and James “Tim” Cherry, for Howell County Township Committeewoman Judy Von Allman and Victoria Howerton and for South Fork Township Committeewoman, Patricia Chapin, and Marilyn Roberts. These are all on the Republican Tickets there are no contested races on the Democrat Ticket.
In Oregon County, for the Second District Associate Commissioner, the candidates are Terry Cline, Jake Parker, and Danial Jett, and for the First District Associate Commissioner, Jason Kemper, Derrick Bennett, Dennis Morgan, and Wyatt Janes. Both of these races are on the Republican Ticket.
