A truck driver is sent to the hospital with minor injuries while the other party flees the scene.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 23-year-old David Thrasher of Pontotoc, Mississippi was driving his 2020 Kenworth Tractor Trailer on Highway BB, three miles south of Myrtle in Oregon County when his truck was struck by another vehicle, causing a window in the Kenworth to break.
The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene and the Highway Patrol was unable to obtain any information about them. Thrasher was taken by Oregon County EMS to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
