Attention Residents of Howell County: The scammers are at it again.
Monday The Sheriff’s Office received several reports from people. This time, the scammers are calling people and using actual Howell County Deputy names, or making up Deputy names, and telling residents that they have warrants for arrests, or need to have their DNA taken, or telling people to just call the Sheriff’s Office. They have been using phone numbers 417-221-3345 and 417-200-1767. IT IS A SCAM.
