55-year-old James Jackson was arrested in April of 2023 after a traffic stop. He was found to have more than two grams of meth in his pocket. Earlier this week an Independence County jury found him guilty of Possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jackson was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
