The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that 55-year-old Walter Bowman was injured when a boat driven by a 13-year-old boy crossed into the path of the boat that 51-year-old William Jackson was driving and struck the boat in the starboard side. Bowman was ejected from the boat. The accident happened on the Current River three miles north of Doniphan.
