A Waynesville man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Texas County on Monday. 69-year-old Michael France suffered moderate injuries when he failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road, and overturned. France was taken to Phelps Health in Rolla. The accident happened on Missouri 17, 10 miles north of Roby.
A man from Louisianna was injured in an accident in Texas County on Monday. The Highway Patrol reports that 60-year-old Loyetta Z. Collins suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Larkin Price of Baton Rouge Louisianna traveled off the road and overturned. Collins was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 17, four miles north of Roby.
