51-year-old Kenneth Burnett is charged with distribution of a controlled substance near a school, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree trafficking of drugs. Last Wednesday, authorities executed a search warrant at Burnett’s residence, which is 1,000 feet from the Junction Hill School. During the search they found plastic baggies with unknown white pills, they also found a bag with 10 ounces of meth, all bagged in one-ounce bags, a syringe, multiple empty baggies, a smoking device, and a set of scales. Burnett is being held on $150,000 bond.
