
A Sharp County man has been arrested in Stone County after arguing with deputies and leading them on a high-speed chase. 58-year-old Timothy Edward Harmon of Sidney was arrested and taken to the Stone County Jai after he allegedly followed a woman to her home, with the woman’s ex-boyfriend. Deputies were called and picked up the ex-boyfriend on warrants. Harmon argued with the deputies and refused to leave. Finally, the deputies told Harmon he was under arrest, and Harmon fled in a vehicle, deputies chased Harmon at speeds up to 95 MPH. Harmon was stopped near the Independence County Line and arrested after a brief struggle. Harmon is charged with felony fleeing, and misdemeanor resisting arrest and obstructing governmental operations. His bond was set at $15,000
