
Authorities attempted to stop the motorcycle which did not have a license plate in Theodosia., but it sped away and led deputies on a short pursuit until the motorcycle had a mechanical issue. During the pursuit, the deputies observed the driver of the motorcycle discard a black bag from his fanny pack. They retrieved the bag and discovered a bag containing meth and a used meth pipe inside. Michael Collins was arrested and booked for felony fleeing, possession of meth, and paraphernalia. Once he was booked, a search warrant was sought for Michael’s house. The warrant was signed by the Judge and the warrant was served. Additional meth, paraphernalia, and a firearm were located in his house leading to additional charges.
