61-year-old Jonathan Edwards of Doniphan was injured in an accident Saturday east of Doniphan. The Highway Patrol reports that Edwards suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road, struck a ditch, and overturned. The accident happened on U.S. 160, five miles east of Doniphan.
Two Greenville Illinois residents were injured in an accident Sunday afternoon in Ozark County. The Highway Patrol says that 68-year-old Vernon Weatherley and 68-year-old Lisa Weatherley both suffered minor injuries when Vernon Weatherley was making a left turn and hit the rear of a truck driven by 21-year-old Jack Cloven of West Plains. The accident happened on Highway CC, four miles east of Dora.
Saturday evening an 11-year-old boy from Doniphan was injured in an ATV accident east of Doniphan. According to the Highway Patrol report, the boy overturned the ATV in a field. He suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
A woman from Houston was injured in an accident north of Raymondville. 72-year-old Brenda Christensen suffered minor injuries when she drove off the road and struck a culvert. Christensen was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 137, four miles north of Raymondville.
A girl from Rolla was injured in an accident in Carter County on Saturday. The Highway Patrol reports that a 17-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when her car hydroplaned off the roadway and hit several trees. The girl was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Highway 60, one mile west of Ellsinore.
A man from Dora was injured in an accident in Christian County on Saturday. 36-year-old Jamie Housley suffered minor injuries when the Polaris Slingshot he was driving, traveled off the road and hit a tree, then overturned. Housley was taken to Cox South in Springfield.
