KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs placed running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire on the reserve/non-football illness list Monday, three days ahead of the 2024 season-opening game against the Baltimore Ravens.

ESPN was the first to report that Edwards-Helaire was placed on the list less than a week after making the Chiefs 53-man roster for his fifth season in the National Football League. As a result of being placed on the NFI list, Edwards-Helaire will not be eligible to play for the first four games of the season.
