34-year-old Franklin Carothers was arrested on Monday and booked into Sharp County Detention Center. The Charges stem from an incident in February where Carothers was accused of rape, engaging in sexual intercourse, or deviating sexual activity with another person by forcible compulsion with an enhancement (Class Y) as a result of Carothers having convictions or found guilty of four or more felonies. Carothers bond was set at $150,000
