The Highway Patrol reports that 62-year-old Vincent Carlton suffered serious injuries when a pickup driven by 61-year-old Lance Asher made a left turn into the path of Carlton. The motorcycle slid on its side and Carlton was ejected. The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 17 and Highway AW. Carlton was flown to Cox South in Springfield.
