The discount retail chain Big Lots is closing more than 300 locations throughout the United States; according to Big Lots’ own website, one of the locations scheduled to get the axe was in West Plains. However, several reports have reached ECNN, informing us that the West Plains Big Lots location is, in fact, not closing.
ECNN reached out to the Big Lots’ corporate offices for clarification; instructions were soon followed to send an email to the address that was provided. After receiving conflicting information, as of this report, ECNN cannot confirm at this time whether or not Big Lots in West Plains will be shuttered. An email of inquiry about the matter has been sent to the Big Lots Corporation and as soon as an official word has been received, we will pass that along here on the E-Comm News Network.
