
A Melbourne Arkansas man, who was involved in a pursuit in Izard County that injured an Izard County Deputy, faces several charges. 28-year-old Zachoria Henry fled from police on Monday and after almost an hour crashed into a patrol unit that then hit Deputy Steven Davidson, who was standing outside the vehicle. Two other Patrol units were damaged during the pursuit. Henry is charged with felony first-degree battery on a law enforcement officer, felony fleeing in a vehicle, felony aggravated assault, and felony first-degree criminal mischief along with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated – drugs, misdemeanor driving while driver’s license is suspended for DWI, misdemeanor reckless driving and misdemeanor failure to register a motor vehicle. He is being held without bond.
