Explosion from propane leak leads to the death of two people in Butler County.
According to the Butler County Sherriff Department the explosion happened off County Road 605 close to 9am yesterday which claimed the lives of both 77-year-old Diana Baker and her 67-year-old brother Danny Batchelor.
Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs claimed that explosion could be heard from one side of town to the other.
After investigation from Mike O’Connell from the Missouri Department of Public Safety the explosion was labeled as an accident after it was discovered that the gas leak came from a pipe within the basement wall of the home.
