Mark and Melissa McGregor of Summersville were charged after one of their adopted daughters was found walking on a dirt road with no shoes and bleeding feet in 2019. The teen reportedly had welt marks on her arms and was malnourished. The McGregors were sentenced to five years of supervised probation. The judge also ruled they cannot adopt or be foster parents again.
