Several local accidents have been reported with injuries

Two people suffered serious injuries in an accident in Carter County on Saturday. 26-year old Jaret Trube of Doniphan and 18-year-old Lillie Cora of Grandin were both injured when a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Suzanne Miller of Prim Arkansas, pulled out of a parking lot and attempted to turn around and pulled into the path of the motorcycle that Trube and Cora were riding. Both Cora and Trube were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Highway 21, south of Route O.

 

Two people were injured in an accident south of West Plains on Saturday. The Highway Patrol says that 44-year-old Daniel Lawless of West Plains suffered serious injuries and 23-year-old Amelia Osmun of West Plains suffered moderate injuries when Lawless failed to yield and collided with a vehicle driven by Osmun. Both the injured were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway 63, one mile south of West Plains. Lawless was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

 

A man from West Plains was injured in an accident east of West Plains on Sunday. The Highway Patrol reports that 69-year-old Jackie Watkins suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the car he was driving. Watkins was taken to Ozarks Healthcare and he was charged with DWI, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident.

 

Two men were injured in an accident near Imboden on Friday. According to reports, 44-year-old Virgil Brown of Black Rock and 68-year-old Steve Wilson of Dalton were both injured when Wilson pulled in front of the vehicle that Brown was driving. The accident happened on Highway 62 near the Spring River Bridge at Imboden.
