On October 9, 2024, Harry Gray age 76 of Ava was arrested after he was indicted by a Douglas County Grand Jury for Theft over $25,000, Forgery, and making a False Affidavit. The bond was set at $15,000 cash only.
The indictment came after a nearly 1 year investigation by Detective Nathan Long where Harry Gray fraudulently acquired the land of another by providing a forged and altered deed.
Sheriff Degase would like to recognize Det, long for his diligence in this case as well as the assistance of the Douglas County Assessor in locating deeds and records in this case.
After a lengthy investigation by Detective Nathan Long in conjunction with the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, Henry Donald Parker age 57 or Gainesville, was indicted by a Douglas County Grand jury for Child Molestation 1st degree, Sexual Abuse and Sexual Misconduct 2nd Degree. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only.
