Wanted man from Arkansas found in Kansas City

An Arkansas man wanted for a drive-by shooting was found in Kansas City Missouri.

According to court documents on October,21 24-year-old Darrius G. Mc Gill was found in Kansas City nearly 3 years after a shooting in Fort Smith.

According to the Fort Smith Arkansas Police Department on November 21st 2021 police was called to the area of North St. and Boone Ave. with reports of a drive-by shooting.

According to witnesses there was several gunshots heard as two individuals were seen running back to a nearby house where they got in a two door Pontiac belonging to Jushaun Mays and drove off.

Warrants were issued for both McGill and Mays after footage from a neighbor’s security cameras revealed they both had fired several rounds.

As of Oct. 21, Judge Travis R. Willingham signed McGill’s extradition order back to Arkansas where his case will be heard. As of yesterday , McGill remains behind bars in Kansas City.
