30-year-old Courtney Keithly and 27-year-old Luke Vest were both arrested after they were seen exiting the home of Devan Edge. While they were fleeing they allegedly hit another vehicle. Keithley allegedly threatened to burn down Edge’s house, before the incident. Lighter fluid was found on the floor and Keithley’s cell phone was in the home. While deputies were at the home a vehicle that was believed to belong to Keithley drove past at a high rate of speed. Deputies gave chase and found the vehicle at a residence on Lakeview where Luke Vest was arrested, Keithley was found inside the house. As a result, Courtney Keithley, and Luke Vest, have been formally charged with Residential Burglary, a class B felony; Criminal Attempt – Arson, a class A felony, Criminal Mischief First Degree, a class D felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, a class A misdemeanor. Their bonds were set at $50,000.
