FAYETTEVILLE – The Razorback 1-2 combination of #1 Johnell Davis and #2 Boogie Fland are two of the 20 players listed on the 2025 Jerry West Award watch list, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced Tuesday.
The annual Jerry West Award, named after the late Class of 1980 Hall of Famer and 1959 NCAA Final Four Most Valuable Player, celebrates its 11th year by highlighting the top shooting guards in Division I men’s college basketball.
Davis, a graduate senior transfer from Florida Atlantic, was a top 10 finalist for the Jerry West Award last season as well as a top 20 finalist for the Wooden Award
Fland, a freshman, was rated as one of the top two guards in the country for the 2024 recruiting class as well as being a 5-star prospect by Rivals, ESPN and 227 Composite.
