Yesterday, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a disturbance on Altom Road in Drasco. When they arrived at the home, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. After receiving aid, the man was flown to the hospital for treatment.
Detectives began investigating the shooting, and the man’s girlfriend, Rebecca Mryglod of Drasco, was arrested and taken to the Cleburne County Jail.
Charges have not been filed yet, but she is being held for attempted first-degree homicide, first-degree domestic battery, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
