
27-year-old Dayton Andre Terrill Austin was arrested earlier this month in West Plains. Terrill-Austin allegedly shot a house that had two children inside. He was later arrested at Snappy Mart in West Plains. When he was arrested officers found an unloaded firearm and a glass smoking device containing a burned crystalline substance that tested positive for meth. Terrill-Austin was a convicted felon. He was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, possessing a weapon and a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of a firearm – dangerous felon/prior conviction. He was released on a $25,000 surety bond.
