BUFFALO, NY.- The NFL fined Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes more than $14,000 for a celebration that was considered a “violent gesture.”
There were about 12 minutes left in the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 11 game against the Buffalo Bills.
In a clip posted by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Mahomes is shown making two “finger guns” in celebration.
The National Football League later ruled the pose as a “violent gesture,” falling under its definition of unsportsmanlike conduct.
